OUR CHILDCARE & PRESCHOOL CENTER
Bright Start Childcare & Learning Center was established in 2020 by Beata Welsh, a master’s level clinician of 20+ years’ experience in communication sciences and disorders. We use the OWL curriculum and Second Step Program to create unique and developmentally appropriate activities for the children. The main objective of this curriculum is to encourage early learning of literacy and numeracy, as well as social interaction and emotional development through play. We use a variety of activities to accomplish this goal, including free play and structured activities. Each week there is a theme. Your child(ren) will have learning activities in six core learning areas to match the theme. Each distinct area is designed to facilitate learning, is developmentally appropriate for your child’s age and is fun so your child will want to participate and learn.
OUR THERAPY OFFICE
Bright Start Therapy was founded in 2003 by Beata Welsh in our capacity as a therapeutic center focusing on speech/language therapy, and in 2012 expanded to offer occupational therapy services. Our therapy office has the uniquie ability to provide one-on-one therapy services so that each child’s unique needs can be met. The clinicians pride themselves on creating individualized programming while applying research based therapy services.
